SmartLPR, smarter than ever

Now featuring vehicle classification

At Quercus Technologies, we keep advancing toward smarter, more efficient mobility. Our SmartLPR license plate reader now features one of its most innovative functionalities: vehicle classification

Thanks to our internally-developed artificial intelligence technology (QAI Inside) built into the reader, the system not only accurately reads license plates; it also identifies the type of vehicle entering the parking facility: car, van, truck, bicycle or motorcycle.

Implementing vehicle classification in access and parking monitoring systems brings about many operational and strategic benefits:

  • Dynamic pricing management: automatic application of differentiated prices by vehicle type.
  • Space optimization: space assignment by vehicle type, for more efficient use of the infrastructure.
  • Greater security:  identification of suspicious patterns and enhanced monitoring through personalized access profiles.
  • Decision-making data: compilation and analysis of useful information for service planning and improvement.
  • Improved user experience: faster, more fluid access.
  • Greater reliability: no need for alternative vehicle classification systems, which are often unreliable and hard to reproduce.

This new functionality stands for a landmark in our commitment to innovation, data intelligence and the development of advanced solutions for a more connected and efficient infrastructure.

Renewed design
Furthermore, and as part of our constant efforts toward technological evolution, we've launched a new housing for the SmartLPR, with a modern design aligned with our future outlook. This update preserves that product's renowned reliability with a more modern, robust look.

The future of parking facilities is not only automatic; it's smart. With SmartLPR and its new vehicle classification capacity, we are taking another step toward smarter, more sustainable and precision-managed urban environments.
